PhD Student

Naomi studies adult neurogenesis in living zebra finches with the application of optical tools like multiphoton microscopy. She loves all living things, and is a fan of learning about the natural world (fun facts about animals is her go to at parties). She loves philosophy and psychology, and is especially fascinated how the brain has evolved to enable such a rich experience of our world. She loves hiking, photography, and music.


Fun Facts

How do you commute to the lab?

Naomi commutes to lab most frequently by walking through the Emerald Necklace park. It is an especially gorgeous walk in the Boston fall, and she likes to watch the baby geese grow up throughout the year.
